Faith Formation News

Gospel Weeklies have arrived. Students will work on them with their families at home and meet monthly as a group for activities and events.
Confirmation for many of our students is scheduled for
October 27th during the 10:00 Mass. Please keep all the children in your prayers as they continue to grow in their faith.
If you are new to the parish or know of a family with children in grades one through six, please have them register for Faith Formation at the rectory or contact Paula King at peking@together.net
or (603) 348-8166.

Faith Formation Update

Last Sunday’s cook-out to celebrate the beginning of a new year of Faith Formation was a great success! The food was amazing, the turn-out was good, and the weather cooperated! Who could ask for more?!

Mark your calendars! On Sunday, October 27 during the 10:00 Mass, 11 of our students will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please plan to join us to help them celebrate this sacrament of initiation and welcome them as full members of our faith community. They have worked hard and are very excited about this big day!

If you have any questions about our Faith Formation program, please contact Paula King (peking@together.net, 348-8166).

Thanks for all your support!

Faith Formation News

Welcome to another year of Faith Formation for our students. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue their journey to learn more about our faith. If you know of a family with children in grades one through six, please contact the rectory so we can register them. Older children (grades 7 and up) who want to receive Confirmation (hopefully in the Spring) will also need to register.

The students will use Gospel Weeklies again this year as the primary instructional material. Students who are preparing to receive Confirmation on October 27 are expected to attend the remainder of their preparation classes on the following Sundays from 5:00-6:00: 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, and 10/20.

Our opening celebration will be part of the Parish cook-out on Sunday, 9/8 right after the 10:00 Mass. The first set of Gospel Weeklies will be ready that day for families to take home.

If you have any questions, please contact Paula King at (603) 348-8166 or peking@together.net.

Faith Formation; Year End Summary

Faith Formation Update

Hello again! Formal classes and home study Gospel Weeklies are done for this year. The second graders will be making their First Reconciliation in a few weeks, and Confirmation classes will resume in the fall. Thank you for your support this year!

With your help, the students raised over $1500 in bake sales this year! We are looking forward to another amazing trip to LaSalette Shrine in Enfield, NH June 9th. We plan to invite members of the other ministries in the Parish to join us…again, thanks for your support!

This past weekend, some of our students and families participated in the Rotary Mini-Golf Tournament. Our team was the Holy Plumbers! Thanks to Craig and Jen (MDW Plumbing) for their sponsorship. Also, the Bujeaud boys (Evan, Ollie, and dad JJ) participated in the torch run for Special Olympics…congrats to them for their efforts!

We have an amazing Parish, and our children and families are blessed to belong to such a supportive community! Thank you again for your support, prayers, and generosity. God bless you all!

Faith Formation: May Update

We have a busy month coming up! This Sunday, May 5, before the 10:00 Mass, we will crown the statue of our Blessed Mother to honor her during the month of May. You are welcome to join us after Mass for a potluck brunch!

On Saturday, May 11 before and after the 4:30 Mass, we will hold the last Faith Formation Bake Sale for this year. We will use some of the proceeds to register teams of Faith Formation students and their families for the Rotary Mini-Golf Tournament on Sunday, May 19.

Our last sacramental preparation class for the year will be on Sunday, May 12.

I want to thank the students and their families for their commitments of time and energy which make the program so vibrant and successful! Please continue to pray for us!
